President: Josh Kurtzig
Josh Kurtzig is from Washington, DC, and works in healthcare in Shanghai. He and his wife Carolyn have been in China for 16 years. They have two kids who are students in our Tov! Education Program. Josh is a past president of Kehillat Beijing. He enjoys languages, traveling and history.
Jesse Golden-Marx, Ph.D.
Jesse Golden-Marx, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral researcher in the Astronomy Department at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is from Saratoga Springs, NY and has lived in Shanghai since the fall of 2019. Jesse is involved in planning Kehilat Shanghai’s religious events as well as our popular Trivia Nights. Outside of KS and Astronomy, Jesse enjoys running, comic books, exploring Shanghai, and vegan cooking.
Bruce Rosen
Memberships & Donations. Born, raised and educated in 🇨🇦, I came to 🇨🇳 in 2012 after a work assignment in 🇧🇷. I am a father to two adult children - Sophie 28 and Ben 25, and the proud co-parent of 4.5 year old Brielle 🇨🇳 with my wife Cibele 🇧🇷. While a good portion of my time is spent working, the majority is spent with family and friends and supporting our great KS community.
Ha Chuong
Ha Chuong is from Toronto, Canada and worked in the healthcare industry. Of Chinese-Vietnamese heritage, she was a child refugee and grew up wondering about her roots. Ha is married to Nadav and they have two children. They’ve lived in Nagano Japan, Washington DC, and Shanghai where she helped found Tov! so her children could learn about their Jewish roots. She enjoys cooking, traveling, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures.
